Costs & Fees

Money is usually the toughest and final topic in any bargain being struck. Below we will discuss the fee schedule for our studio. We feel that for the quality of services we provide that these prices are fair and approachable. And remember, we are willing to negotiate with you based on your funds, needs and our abilities.

Recording

A recording session involves using microphones, mixing boards and audio interfaces to turn analog and digital performances into digital assets. This is the most interactive process and we will provide as much or as little advice as you feel like receiving. At the end of a recording session we will be able to move forward into mixing or we can export all of the audio to an external device for you take home.

(Studio musician efforts and the engineer directed computer instruments fall under Recording.)

Each recording session will be billed as follows:

• $20 setup / reservation fee
• $20 per hour

Mixing

This is normally a single person activity. You can go home or hang around the studio. There is no fixed amount of time that it takes to mix a set of tracks. Each recording is unique and your level of involvement determines the time span.

Each mixing session will be billed as follows:

• $20 for the first hour
• $10 per hour for the second hour and on

Mastering

We wish to reiterate: we are not masters at mastering. We rely heavily on technology and AI to master a track. We will take your input into consideration as best as the process allows.

Each mastering session will be billed as follows:

• $10 to let the computer do all the work
• $10 extra if would like us to begin manual adjustments
