We have high quality recording gear but we also offer high quality instruments and amplifiers for you to play. We even provide an electronic drum set so we can record percussion in our little space without waking the neighbors.

Microphones

We have a varied collection of dynamic and condenser microphones. Our active mics have great fidelity and record both voice and acoustic instruments accurately and beautifully. If you choose to use an amplifier with a guitar or bass, we have a collection of dynamic microphones from Shure that will allow us to mic up the cabinets in a wide using a wide array of techniques.

Software

We have up to date, high quality software for recording. We use Toontracks plugins for studio musician simulation, post recording effects and mixing & mastering. We use Logic Pro as our primary DAWS. We also have video editors if you’d like to produce your songs as videos for platforms like YouTube.

Instruments

We have an expansive collection of acoustic and electric instruments. We have folk instruments as well as contemporary.

Amplifiers

When recording an electric instrument, you can use a mic’d up amplifier or you can use a software amplifier provided by the DAWS or Toontack plugins. Logic Pro has very good software amplifiers and Toontrack has an incredible collection of drive guitar sounds.
